What if the next creative space wasn’t an office anymore? We made it happen.
For a long time, we thought of offices as containers. Spaces designed to organize work, separate functions, and draw a clear line between what happens inside and everything that remains outside. But creativity follows much more fluid dynamics.
Ideas can emerge during a meeting, of course. But also through an unexpected encounter, a conversation overheard by chance, the intersection of different disciplines, or the exchange between people who might never have met elsewhere.
When we imagined Superhumans’ new space in Milan, this is exactly where we started. We wanted to give physical form to the way we work: open, fluid, and constantly crossed by different points of view.
A transparent boundary between the agency and the city
Inside the space, two souls coexist: the agency’s creative area and Orsonero Coffee’s coffee destination, open to the city. Separating them is a large glass wall, designed to define the environments while maintaining a constant visual relationship between the two worlds.
On one side, there are projects, meetings, exchanges and ideas taking shape. On the other, people come in to have a coffee, work, meet someone, or simply move through a moment in their day.
That glass wall tells the story of the project better than any manifesto could. It protects the spaces, lets light pass through and keeps the dialogue open with everything happening around it. Creative work thus becomes part of a broader ecosystem made of people, daily rituals and urban movement.

Coffee as an infrastructure for creativity
Orsonero Coffee plays a central role in the concept. Coffee carries a social function that goes beyond the product itself. It is a pause, an excuse to meet, a space of transition, an informal threshold and a place where seemingly irrelevant conversations can open unexpected directions.
Sharing the space with a coffee destination means welcoming this energy into our everyday life. The agency comes into contact with the city, and the city can move closer to the creative world through a simple, daily gesture.
Ideas can also arrive over a cup of coffee. Creating a space that makes these collisions possible means considering creativity both as a process to be organized and as a condition to be encouraged.
Milan is a choice that speaks to our evolution
Milan is an essential component of this project. Here, business meets design, fashion dialogues with technology, culture enters communication, and neighborhoods often become laboratories where we can observe what is changing before it fully emerges.
The city lives through overlaps, and its value comes from its ability to bring together different industries, languages and communities. That is why we built a space capable of absorbing the identity of the place it belongs to, while developing a personality of its own.
Superhumans Milan Hub was born from the neighborhood, from the people who move through it and from the relationships that can grow within it. For us, being present in Milan means actively taking part in this network, entering the conversations that are transforming the creative market and helping generate new ones.
We chose to open ourselves to the city and make it part of the way we think and work.
When a space becomes a platform
The space will be able to change shape continuously. It can host a workday and, just a few hours later, become the starting point for a talk, an event, a proprietary content format or a networking moment. It can welcome professionals, brands, creatives and communities even before there is a brief, a project or an already defined relationship.
This is the direction we want to give it: to build, over time, a program of conversations, experiences and cultural cross-pollination.
Superhumans Milan Hub was conceived as a place with an identity of its own, capable of influencing what it hosts and the way it is experienced.
The physical space thus becomes a platform, in the same way an idea can turn into content, experience, event and relationship. Different functions coexist under the same vision: creating connections that make sense.
To design a space is to shape a culture
Offices always say something about the organizations that inhabit them, even when that story takes shape spontaneously.
They reveal the degree of openness, the value placed on collaboration, the relationship with control and the space left for the unexpected. Architecture, furniture and the way environments are experienced become a concrete expression of company culture.
With this project, we want to express our willingness to remain permeable. To people, languages, disciplines, the city and everything that can challenge our point of view.
Working in creativity means constantly building the conditions to be surprised. A space can help make that happen when it generates relationships, movement and opportunities for exchange.
What if the next creative space was no longer an office?
